Chips

Chips are large shredded oak pieces, toasted using the classic technology by roasting, which are mainly used in the stages of aging to add oak flavors and aromas to the drink.

Chips are produced only from high-quality raw materials after atmospheric drying for at least 24 months in the open air. Then there is an additional drying, after that the aged raw material is crushed and toasted.

Chips are most often used in fermentation and aging wine and brewing beer. It is better to add them to strong beers, as the high alcohol content contributes to the increased extraction of aromatic and flavoring substances in beer.

Chips are the most common product among manufacturers who use an alternative. This product allows to get a faster result compared to Cubes.
